About Us
My stores are my hobby and my lifeline. I started it because I got sick (again) and being sick is lonely and can be depressing if you don't keep yourself busy. I have met a few wonderful people through starting online stores. It has been uplifting to have women of all ages to talk to via email about the ups and downs of our life, our loves, jobs, hobbies and families.
My illness is annoyingly a part of me for the rest of my life! It's a syndrome, which means it has all kinds of symptoms that come and go. For years at a time, my life is topsy turvy and I cannot be like a normal person! This has been happening to me since I was 16 and I am now just entering my 50's. So I guess the bottom line is if you are a stubborn person, you survive! Who would have known that the trait that annoyewd my teachers and mom would be my survival skill after all!!!
So I have this little store and it has a link to my eBay store. At the eBay store there are links to gift certificates in case you want to give someone a gift but don't know exactly what they would like.
Please share my Flying cart link with anyone you think might be interested. I could use all the business I can get. It is helping me to stay a float while I fight social security for my benefits. Sales have been exceptionally slow in the last part of 08 and have not picked up yet. I am keeping my fingers crossed and saying prayers for all the women in the same boat. It turns out that there are a lot of us trying to do the same thing.
Peace
About the Owner
I am a single mom with two grown boys and so far 3 grandchildren. I live in Mesa AZ and my hobbies are jewelry making and working with computers when opportunities arise. I have made jewelry since I was a teen. And I had worked since 1998 at a software company until I got sick again last year. I was doing technical support but that was actually more in depth than that description states. It was database administration support. Helping admins setup, run and fix their companies databases and servers. It was a lot of fun and I did really well. But once I got sick I just could not drive an hour each way to work and sit on the phone connected remotely for hours sometimes to peoples systems and stare at a monitor troubleshooting their database problems. I miss it, helping people. That is what I am good at, troubleshotting and helping. I like to fix things! All kinds of things...it is in my nature. I can't just walk by something that I know what to do about and not say something.
